Every rate on this site is pulled from the GSA Per Diem API, the same dataset behind the rate tables on gsa.gov. Nothing is typed in by hand. The current data was fetched on 14 September 2026 and covers FY2026 and FY2027 CONUS lodging, M&IE tiers and meal breakdowns: 298 listed destinations for FY2026 and 297 for FY2027, plus the standard rate that applies everywhere else.

GSA publishes the next fiscal year each August, and the dataset here is refreshed from the API at that point. The calculation rules (fiscal year starting 1 October, lodging priced by the month of the night, 75% M&IE on the first and last travel day) follow the Federal Travel Regulation. Federal Per Diem Calc is an independent site and is not affiliated with the U.S. General Services Administration.
